Philanthropy: Delta Gamma was the first fraternity to establish an independent philanthropic foundation, Service for Sight. The University of Texas Delta Gamma chapter works closely with the Texas School for the Blind in Austin. Events that DG hosts are Anchorsplash- a male synchronized swimming competition- and Anchorslam- a basketball tournament. The money goes to benefit the Delta Gamma Foundation and Service for Sight.
