Facts & Philanthropy: Delta Gamma was one of the seven original women's groups that began the National Panhellenic Conference. Delta Gamma was the first fraternity to establish an independent philanthropic foundation, Service for Sight. The University of Texas Delta Gamma chapter works closely with the Texas School for the Blind in Austin.
