Legacy Information
- A legacy is the brother or sister, son or daughter, or grandson or granddaughter of a fraternity or sorority member. Each local chapter has its own policy regarding legacies. Being a legacy does NOT mean automatic membership into that chapter. Nonetheless, being a legacy does not hurt your chances at membership in any way.
- To clear up any confusion regarding whether or not, you are a legacy, here is the list of what each chapter considers a legacy.
- You are not at any disavantgae if you are not a legacy to a sorority.
- Alpha Chi Omega - Mom, sister, grandmother
- Alpha Delta Pi - Mom, sister, grandmother
- Alpha Epsilon Phi - Mom, sister, grandmother, step-mother
- Alpha Phi - Mom, sister, grandmother
- Alpha Xi Delta - Mom, sister, half-sister, step-sister, step-mom, grandmother, step-grandmother
- Chi Omega - Mom, sister
- Delta Delta Delta - Mom, sister
- Delta Gamma - Mom, sister, grandmother, step-mom
- Kappa Alpha Theta - Mom, sister, grandmother
- Kappa Delta - Sister, Mom, Grandmother, great-grandma, half sister, step-sister, adopted relative
- Kappa Kappa Gamma - Mom, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother
- Pi Beta Phi- Mom, sister, grandmother
- Sigma Delta Tau- Mom, sister, grandmother
- Zeta Tau Alpha- Mom, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother
