Recommendations
An optional step in the recruitment process is registering with your local Alumnae Panhellenic Association. This will provide you with an opportunity to meet sorority alumnae in your area, attend a recruitment information session, and gain assistance in getting reference letters. The registration form that you will complete for your local Alumnae Panhellenic Association will be very similar to the form you will complete for the UT University Panhellenic Council. You MUST register with the University of Texas Panhellenic even if you register with your local alumnae.
- Please note: Although recommendations are optional to participate in UT Recruitment, the majority of houses cannot invite you back past open house and must release you from their house without having a recommendation letter for you. Thererefore, it is HIGHLY encouraged to get recommendation letters for all 14 sororities at UT.

If you reside in Texas contact the local Alumnae Panhellenic Association nearest to you listed below.
If you reside outside of Texas we suggest contacting the Greek Life office of a University in your area to inquire if they have a listing for a local Alumnae Panhellenic Association near you.
